So we discussed a few possibilities on the meeting last Friday (Thanks to all that showed up!) However we still need a larger group of names to pull from, so Please, over the break while parts are being ordered, Post some ideas as a comment on this post so I can get a poll going and we can vote on a winner!

The time slot to give ideas for names will be ending on Christmas, Dec 25th. Then we will have a poll to vote on for new years so this creation will have a name!

Also I have sent off a email for some steel and wheelchair motors, so we can start getting something put together.

So after meeting with you all, we decided that making our own tracks is the way to go,

This again might have changed.

Talking with Mr. Razmi on saturday and discussing our very limited budget, and looking online for the priceing of motorcycle chain’s building our own tracks would have come out to about the same cost as buying an already built set.  He said we should use wheels. Had I known we could have done this from the beginning we probably would have gone this route anyways, as it’s cheaper, easier, and less damaging to the floors on campus.

So now we are probably going to go with the wheeled route. Ideas? Please post them in the tracks / feet group.

We also still have no place to actually build this beast. If anyone knows of a place close to school to get this thing started as we really need to start getting SOMETHING together, please let me know. If you don’t already have my email address it’s daniel<at>stinebaugh.info. Thanks!
